What is RHA?

Teoxane’s RHA Collection is the first hyaluronic acid filler that is FDA-approved to treat dynamic wrinkles throughout the face.  RHA stands for resilient hyaluronic acid, which is created through an innovative process that preserves the natural properties of hyaluronic acid. This allows it to move freely with expressions while providing an effective reduction in the appearance of wrinkles.

RHA not only provide benefits at rest but also in motion. This is due to an innovative gentle technique called Preserved Network Technology which keeps the long hyaluronic acid chains and key chemical bonds intact that most closely resemble the hyaluronic acid produced by the body.

RHA comes in 4 different formulas: RHA 1 (Redensity), 2, 3, and 4.

Am I a Good Candidate for RHA Fillers?

Nearly all adults who is concerned about the appearance of mild to severe wrinkles in the face can be a good candidate for RHA fillers. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and therefore has little risk of causing an allergic reaction, however, it is not recommended for those with a history of severe allergic reactions.

How Long will my Results with RHA last?

The results following treatment with RHA filler are noticed immediately,  however,  swelling can occurr in the treatment area for several days for some patients. The full result is typically seen 2-3 weeks following treatment and results can lasting up to 15 months.
